We believe that joining Carers Careline as one of our volunteers will be a positive experience not only from the personal satisfaction of a job well done but also from the support you receive from our friendly management team.
Volunteers are at the heart of Carers Careline’s aims and services and right from the moment of the first contact with the organisation you will be valued and cared for.
We have opportunities for volunteers to become involved with both the overall running of Carers Careline as a Trustee or as direct support to our carers. Those volunteers who support our carers may come into contact with vulnerable individuals through working with our groups and drop-in facility as well as possibly being part of our telephone support. To ensure that any such vulnerable individuals are fully protected, all volunteers need to provide two references and must be prepared to undergo a DBS check as well as receiving induction and other relevant training.
There is no cost to the volunteer for any of these requirements other than their time and we will also pay suitable travelling expenses.
So if you have 2 or 3 hours to spare each week and think you would enjoy being part of our front line services or perhaps become involved in the running of the organisation, then why not contact us for more information to help you make up your mind. We would love to hear from you. Thank you.
