Do you need to make a will? or update an existing will?
Following the success of our Will Week last year, Harrison Clark Rickerbys – a firm of solicitors based in Worcester – have kindly agreed to return to run another Will Week for us. The dates will be in the week commencing 7th – 11th March 2016. All appointments will be held here at the Ecumenical Centre, in Redditch. Basic will charges will be £80 for a single will, and £140 for a joint will. Harrison Clark Rickerbys are kindly donating the cost of all wills made during the week to Carers Careline to support our work with the unpaid informal carers.
If you would like more information, or would like to book an appointment, please telephone the office on 01527 66177 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Making a will is something many of us just don’t get round to doing – why not tick that box and support Carers Careline at the same time this Spring?
Our offices will be closed over the festive period from Tuesday 22nd December until Wednesday 6th January 2016. If you need any help, support or advice during that time you are able to contact Sarah Maries on either Thursday 24th December or Wednesday 30th December on 07982381850, or alternatively throughout the rest of the festive period, you can contact the Worcester Association of Carers on their helpline 0300 012 4272 (they are closed on 25th, 26th and 28th December, and then on 1st and 2nd January 2016). On behalf of all the staff at Carers Careline we would like to wish all our carers, life after carers and supporters a very merry Christmas, and a happy 2016.
It was lovely to see all of you who popped in for a mince pie and to share some festive cheer at our Christmas drop in last Thursday. It was lovely to see Jan Jones from Arbonne who kindly came along to support us with some last minute present buying opportunities. Jan is very kindly donating part of the proceeds from sales on the day to us…SO thank you Jan!
All the staff at Carers Careline would like to take this opportunity to wish all our carers, life after carers, volunteers and supporters a very happy Christmas and a prosperous 2016. Thank you everyone for your support this year!
Unfortunately our keep fit session just after Christmas on Wednesday 6th January 2016 has been CANCELLED – so sorry no excuses now for too many mince pies over Christmas!! Ha Ha.
However do not forget we have the first Holistic Therapies and Craft session at the Old Needleworks in Brittan Street on Monday 11th January 11.00 – 3.00 – a chance to pamper yourself or just take a break after all the festivities. Please contact Natalie here at Carers Careline to book your space.
I am delighted to annouce that Carers Careline were nominated recently for a Pride of Redditch award. The awards evening was held last Friday 11th December with a wonderful array of nominees from our town all who have done so much to support the local Redditch community. Although we didn’t win a Pride of Redditch award on the night, those that did win were such worthy winners, and Carers Careline was so proud to have been selected alongside all the other nominations.
